  • Identified novel germplasm lines resistance to anthracnose disease of chilli, and rust, powdery mildew and downy mildew diseases of pea.
  • Developed Trichoderma sp., and Bacillus subtilis based bio-formulations for the management of soil borne fungal pathogens infecting vegetables.
  • Characterized early blight pathogen infecting tomato in Northern India.
  • Worked out bio-efficacy and safety limit of combined fungicides applied against anthracnose disease of chilli and early blight disease of tomato.
  • Standardized a protocol for regeneration of soybean (Glycine max L. Merrill) through direct somatic embryogenesis from the immature embryonic shoot tip.
  • Developed pyramided transgenic elite Indica rice cultivars resistance to sheath blight and bacterial blight diseases.
