The Centre has a consultancy processing cell to effectively transfer technologies on commercial basis as per the Johl’s committee recommendations. In addition the centre provides contract services for virus testing and genetic fidelity testing for tissue culture raised plants.

Except for NASH test, any number of samples can be sent for testing. Regarding accuracy and reliability PCR and NASH are more reliable than immuno tests.
Samples can be sent along with DD drawn in favour of "ICAR Unit- NRCB", payable at Tiruchirapalli, Tamil Nadu for testing. We take three working days for the results. Results will be sent in mail as well as hard copies.
